About Company

Family Trust Capital Microfinance Limited (FTC) is a microfinance institution (MFI) located in Accra, in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. The MFI which commenced operations in 2011 with three staff initially as money lenders and subsequently as a microfinance company with the principal objective of providing financial services to small and medium scale enterprises. It was granted permanent license in 2014. The overall objective of FTCL in the medium term is thus to acquire a Bank of Ghana license to operate as a Savings and Loans (S&L) Company under the Non-Banking Financial Institutions (NBFI) Law in Ghana. A S&L license would enable the Company significantly expand its scope of operations, provide more market oriented and customer focused services and maintain more creditable and sustainable operations in future.
